PayPal, crypto or gift cards: choosing your payout
Minimums, fees and speed differ more than you might expect. Here is how to pick the method that leaves the most in your pocket.

Crypto is the fastest door and the one with the lowest minimums. Litecoin, Solana, Tron, XRP and Polygon start at $1 with no fee, and the transaction is normally broadcast within minutes of the approval. Tether and USD Coin start at $5 with a 0.5% fee and hold their value against the dollar, a good fit if you want to save up without watching a price chart. Bitcoin and Ethereum have higher network costs, so they start at $10 with a 1% fee and only make sense for bigger amounts.
Crypto asks for more care in return. A transfer cannot be reversed, so copy and paste your address rather than typing it, and check the first and last few characters before you confirm. Make sure the address belongs to the network named on the tile: Tether is sent over TRC-20 and USD Coin over ERC-20, and coins sent to an address on a different network are usually lost. If you are new to this, make your first withdrawal a small one and watch it arrive before you send more.
Gift cards are the simplest choice when you already know where the money is going. Amazon, Google Play and Steam codes start at $5, Apple at $10, and the code lands in your inbox, usually within minutes. There is nothing to set up and no fee. The trade-off is flexibility: a code can only be spent in one store and often only in one region, so check that the card matches the country of your store account. Now and then a method carries a small bonus, shown as a badge on its tile.
A few habits apply whichever door you use. Fees are percentages, but minimums and network costs are not, so one $20 withdrawal usually beats four $5 ones.
